Here you enter the lifts without wasting time in long lines, and you ascend to higher terrain where the view is magnificent and the air crystal clear and fresh. These are elements to be found in other destinations as well, but every year Hafjell makes new investments to add thrills and comfort to your mountain experiences.
Hafjell Play Arena is an indoor 800 kvm2 play area designed for families, school classes, kindergartens, clubs, institutions and everybody else in the ages 0-12 yrs. This is a like a fun-dome for children, where they can play physically and “healthy” games in safe surroundings.
At the entrance of the Gudbrandsdalen valley – 12 km north of Lillehammer – you find a winterpark out of the extraordinary. A world of adventures that can neither be seen nor heard before after dark. The winterpark is unique in Europe. Enter a fairyland of snow and ice. Go for a sleigh ride, try snowrafting or icebowling and get impressed by icesculptures and the torch-lit atmosphere. Visit the ice cathedral where weddings and concerts are organized through the winter.
